Your business is mobile, so why should your website be stuck in the past?
If you have a business but do not have a user-friendly mobile website design, it’s time to think about it seriously. In 2022, it was reported over 5.22 billion people have mobile devices and use them to make purchases. If that didn’t convince you, here are 3 more reasons you need to consider mobile website design for your business.
Improves SEO Ranking
A responsive mobile website design is crucial to your business. Since 2015, it has been reported that Google's SEO ranking includes optimization for mobile devices.
If you want people to find your website on Google, you need to increase your SEO ranking.
SEO is a powerful tool for businesses to improve their search rank and increase visibility on search engines. Most people would not venture to your website without a search engine, so it's important to make sure that you are showing up in the top results. Choquer Creative specializes in improving SEO ranking. Contact us today for an evaluation of your business.
Expand Customer Base
For years now, the web has seen a shift from desktop-based websites to mobile websites. As more and more people access the internet from their phones, businesses need to ensure their website is compatible with any device.
A responsive mobile website design gives customers a personalized experience that caters to the device of their choice. A fully responsive site is also capable of adapting to fit different screen sizes and responding to changing conditions such as network speed or bandwidth capability. This means that users get the content that they want in an easy, intuitive format no matter what type of smartphone, tablet or computer they use.
Stay Ahead Of The Competition
Ensuring a great mobile website design is a must for your business. In fact, if you’re not optimizing for mobile devices, your competitors are. That means it’s more likely that they’re getting more visits from prospective customers and a higher conversion rate than you.
Your mobile website design is a vital part of an online marketing strategy to help you target potential customers on the go.

From Figma To Webflow: A Step-By-Step Guide (2023)
Trying to go from Figma to Webflow but don’t know where to start?
We’ve got you covered.
By the end of this blog, not only will you have all of the steps needed to go from Figma to Webflow, but you’ll also be equipped with tips for making the transition smoother!
Prepare Your Webflow Project
Before we start transferring a website from Figma to Webflow, we need to prepare our new Webflow project.
Create A Styleguide
Start by preparing a styleguide (in this article, we’ll assume you don’t have a defined styleguide for your Figma design).
A styleguide lets you set properties for elements used throughout your website. For example, you can set the default style of all your H1 headers to be a specific font, size, weight, color, etc.
This step ensures you only need to define the properties once instead of defining them over and over for every single element on your website (and for every breakpoint!). It also ensures consistent styling throughout your website.
Click on the “Selector” field (top right) and select the purple tag containing the words “All Pages.” This ensures your styling is automatically applied every time you create this element on your website (image reference below)
Repeat this step for all elements you’ll use repeatedly throughout your design
Upload Fonts
If the font you’re using isn’t on Webflow, you can easily add it to your project.
Go to “Project Settings”
Click on the “Fonts” tab
Select your font from the “Google Fonts” list. Select the weights you need and click “Add Font”
If your font isn’t available in Google Fonts, you can upload an external font file
Reload the Webflow page and the font should appear in your Webflow project
Assets
Now that the Webflow document is prepared, we can begin transferring assets from Figma to Webflow.
This starts by exporting the assets on Figma (images, icons, etc). There are 2 ways you can do this:
Select all the assets you want to export. Then go to the “File” dropdown and click “Export”
If you’ve already marked assets for export (using the “Exports” tab on the right sidebar in Figma), follow the same steps without selecting any assets.
Next, upload the files to the “Assets” folder on Webflow. This can be done in 2 ways:
Drag and drop your files into the “Assets” folder
Upload them manually into the folder
Tip #1: Use folders in Google Drive to organize the assets for each page of your design.
Tip #2: Compress your images to reduce their size. Large images cause your website to slow down.
Layers To Divs
Now the fun part: re-creating your Figma design on Webflow!
Use The Desktop Breakpoint As Your Starting Point
Start re-creating your Figma design on the Desktop breakpoint in Webflow.
This is because, in Webflow, design changes flow down to smaller screen sizes but not up to bigger screens.
After designing on desktop, switch to smaller breakpoints to optimize your website’s responsiveness. Generally, changes made on smaller breakpoints won’t be reflected on larger breakpoints.
Use A 12 Column Grid
Secondly, we recommend using a 12-column grid on both Figma and Webflow because it optimizes the re-creation process:
It ensures all the elements are properly aligned across different screen sizes
It’s available on Figma and it’s the standard grid on Webflow. This makes it easy to re-create the design precisely
Recreate Each Element On Webflow
Each element created on Figma has a CSS, Swift, and XML code that can be used to re-create the element on Webflow. Here’s how to access it:
Click the element on the Figma file
At the top of the right side panel, click on the “Inspect” tab
The “Code” section shows all the CSS properties for your selected element
If you want to select an element nested in a group, hold down control/command and hover your mouse over the element. Alternatively, right-click on the element, scroll to “Select Layer” and click on the element you want to access.
These settings can be used to accurately recreate every element on Figma to Webflow.
Tip #1: Your recreation on Webflow won’t be an exact pixel by pixel recreation. This is because elements behave differently when they’re coded vs. on design tools.
Tip #2: Similar to Figma, you are able to make a design once and re-use it (called a “component” on Webflow). This is helpful for things like the navigation bar, footer, etc. To create a component, select the element and click “create component” at the top of the left side bar on Webflow.
QA
Once your design is transferred from Figma to Webflow, optimized for each breakpoint, and you’ve performed your final checks – it’s time to publish your site and conduct a QA.
Your website on Webflow designer is almost identical to the published site. Because of this, it’s important to go through your website after publishing it and make sure everything looks good and works properly.
Final Points
Going from Figma to Webflow can seem like a daunting task, but approaching it in a step-by-step manner helps you stay organized and ensures the design is re-created correctly.
5 Best Personal injury lawyer SEO Tips You Need to know
What is Personal Injury Lawyer SEO?
Your digital and online marketing efforts aren’t in vain. People who find themselves in work-related injuries, complex disability claims or car accidents need to find your website. With the prevalence of mobile devices and laptops, the majority of people will use a search engine (like Google) to find a personal injury lawyer who can help them.
4.3 billion people around the world use Google - that’s roughly 3 times the population of China - and the platform processes nearly 100,000 search queries every second.
This is where personal injury lawyer SEO comes into play. Search engine optimization (or SEO) is the process of improving your website’s chances to be seen by search traffic online. With the proper techniques in place, your website can appear on the search engine result pages (or SERPs) for your potential customers.
Businesses across all industries need some level of search engine optimization to succeed online. This is why we’ve prepared a shortlist of our top 5 personal injury lawyer SEO tips you need to succeed.
Keyword Optimization
Keyword optimization is the foundation for personal injury lawyer SEO.
A keyword is any word, phrase, or question a user would put into a search bar. For personal injury lawyers, this could range from “personal injury lawyer near me” or “how much does a personal injury lawyer make?”.
Lawyers and attorneys have notoriously expensive cost-per-click Google ads online. The term auto injury lawyer can cost you over $66 per click on search engines.
There are tools you can use to get information about the keywords you pick (at Choquer Creative, we use SEMrush). The information you get is critical for strategy. You must consider not just a keyword’s search volume, but also competition and relevance levels.
Keyword Search Volume
This is the amount users who search a particular search query every month. The more popular the keyword is, the higher the volume. However, high-volume keywords tend to be fairly competitive and may lack relevance. For example, it’d be extremely difficult (or impossible) to rank for “lawyer”.
Search Competition
Search competition will give you insight into how difficult it is the rank for a particular keyword.
Pro Tip: For personal injury lawyer SEO, try to go for less competitive long-tail keywords. If your website is smaller, this gives you a better chance to rank on Google.
Search Relevance
Google organizes relevant information for searchers every day. Keywords on your webpage help Google identify what you’re offering, but you have to ensure that your content lines up too.
For example, if you’re making a webpage about work injuries, you may talk about types of workplace injuries, out-of-pocket appointment costs, governing regulatory bodies and more.
We know SEO strategies are tricky and take time to implement. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help.
Local SEO
Local SEO is huge for your marketing strategy. As a personal injury lawyer, you primarily need to market your services locally and not internationally.
Your search engine optimization strategy should target a specific city, country, state or geographic area. A keyword like “personal injury lawyer Surrey (or Vancouver)” would make a lot more sense if your office is in Surrey or Vancouver BC.
Think of the searcher’s intent as well. It’s most likely that someone searching for a specific service in a location lives nearby, therefore they are more qualified for your services.
You can boost your local SEO by this simply creating your Google Business Profile. This ensures Google has our updated name, address and phone number for users.
Technical SEO
Technical SEO refers to the overall structure of your website. For personal injury lawyer SEO, this may look like a homepage, a few service pages, perhaps a blog, and a contact page.
Google news to read (or crawl) your web pages properly to rank your website. Technical SEO includes the following elements:
Google has some recommendations in terms of content optimization for your web pages. They’re usually quite simple to implement but beware of black hat tactics which can be harmful to personal injury lawyer SEO.
SEO Content to Implement:
Meta descriptions so users can get a quick idea of what’s on the page via search results.
Headings tags: Use headings to organize your content into sections.
Use relevant words in links, not anything random or “stuffed”
Optimize images with descriptions (ie: Alt tags).
SEO Content to Avoid:
Automatically generated content.
Content copied and pasted from other websites.
Keyword stuffing: Using one word/phrase over and over again.
Using invisible text (other than alt text).
Ensure to Measure Your SEO Results!
Check your website's Google Analytics and Google Search console metrics
Lastly, we recommend that you measure your website’s SEO performance. This way, you can benchmark your progress with free tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Thankfully, search engine optimization campaigns are much easier to measure than traditional marketing channels (like TV, PR, Flyers or Radio).
The best numbers to monitor for your personal injury lawyer SEO strategy are the following on Google Search Console & Analytics:
Organic Traffic
Bounce Rate
Conversion Rate
Average Duration time
Website Clicks
Total Impressions
Clickthrough Rate
Average Position in Search Results
By studying and tracking this data, you can understand your target audience more and their behaviour in real-time.
